Has historical value as the only Irish house and perhaps the principal house apart from Haworth Parsonage in Yorkshire, to have associations with the Brontės. Situated in the midlands on Banagher Hill, Offaly, overlooking the town and offering splendid views of the surrounding countryside including the river Shannon.
